We normally meet on the second Wednesday of the month in the Grove Building Mere. This can vary so do check with the dates below. We usually start our meetings at 7.30pm.

The speaker is Stephen Hackett who will talk on Horatio Garden. This is the garden at Salisbury hospital set up in memory of a young man killed in an accident a few years ago.
Horatio’s Garden is now a national charity creating and nurturing beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres to support everyone affected by spinal injury. They grow thriving communities to support patients, their families and friends facing long stays in NHS hospitals.

In association with Mere literary Festival, Robin Walter will talk about his book, “Living with trees”. It is described as a cornucopia of practical information, good examples and new ideas that will inspire, guide and encourage people to reconnect with the trees and woods in their community, so we can all value, celebrate and protect our arboreal neighbours.

A speaker from Castle gardens will talk on House plants for Christmas
